MGA Treatment Center

Over 200 patients with myasthenia gravis come regularly to the MGA treatment center easily making it one of the largest known myasthenia gravis hubs in the world.  Patients come from not only Pennsylvania, but also neighboring states such as Ohio, West Virginia, and New York to receive the quality care that is provided.  The center is located in the Mercy Health Center (on the campus of Mercy Hospital) - just minutes from downtown Pittsburgh.  It is open every Wednesday from approximately 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on an appointment basis.

Patients are treated by the neurologist, Dr. Marina Zaretskaya (pictured at right).  She practices at Mercy Hospital and because of the large number of MG patients she manages, is very experienced.  A member of many notable medical organizations including the American Academy of Neurology, Marina also serves on the MGA Board of Directors.  In addition, the MGA nurse and social worker are also at the center.

If you are interested in making an appointment or finding out more about the center, please contact the MGA office.
