Barbara Lefler, Executive Director
Barbara began serving as the Executive Director of the Myasthenia Gravis Association of Western Pennsylvania in October, 2007. Under her visionary leadership, MGA has undergone major transitions that have increased the organizations ability to impact the MG community in a positive way. blefler@mgawpa.org
Virginia "Ginny" Everard, R.N., Treatment Center Coordinator
Ginny Everard joined MGA in the fall of 2005 as the Treatment Center Coordinator. She earned her Associates Degree in Nursing in 1989. Ginny's prior nursing experience and her natural compassionate nature make her highly qualified to work with people with myasthenia gravis. veverard@mgawpa.org
Amanda Anderson, Social Services Education and Outreach Specialist
Amanda Anderson joins MGA as the organizations Social Services Education and Outreach Specialist. Amanda’s three years experience with case management, a masters degree, and a warm engaging personality has already captured the hearts of many clients. She looks forward to enhancing the support group meetings, educating the community, and helping with the social and emotional needs of people whose lives are touched by myasthenia gravis. aanderson@mgawpa.org
Donna Kalisek, Administrative Coordinator
In 1966, Donna Kalisek was afflicted with Myasthenia Gravis at the age of 8 years old. Her love for the organization that assisted her through turbulent times in her youth has lead her to her career path. Donna is the Administrative Coordinator for MGA and her contribution is essential to its day-to-day operations and event planning. dkalisek@mgawpa.org
