August 28th: MGA's Annual Patient Picnic
You're invited to a Summer Picnic scheduled for Saturday, August 28th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Clairton for patients and their families. The address is 210 Old Clairton Road, Clairton, PA 15025 and is near Thomas Jefferson High School. The event starts at 11:00 a.m. It will be an day of food, fun, sharing, and friendship. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and drinks provided by Giant Eagle. Please bring a covered dish. RSVP 412-566-1545.
September 12th: Support Mel McRoberts, a person with MG as he runs the Erie Marathon at Presque Isle
October 10th: Doggy Walk Party and Pooch Parade
Mark your calendar now for this fun frolicking event to be held at beautiful South Park in Pittsburgh PA on October 10, 2010 beginning at 10:00 am (10/10/10 @ 10 am – cute huh?). Bring your favorite pooch and while away the morning as you support people with myasthenia gravis. Admission fee is only $25.00 for you and your dog. Tastefully Simple: Online Fundraiser
For the month of October, one of our dedicated members, Emily Glass will be launching a Tastefully Simple internet “Party” on behalf of MGA. She will be donating 20% of her sales from this party to continue to support the important work of the organization. You will be able to access the new fall catalog online during the month of October. Tastefully Simple products make wonderful holiday gifts.
