MGA, WPAHS and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Partner for MG Education Literature Project

Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield is please to award the Myasthenia Gravis Association of Western Pennsylvania ‘in-kind’ printing services for beautiful new educational literature. The two brochures will be made available for distribution in the spring of 2009. In keeping with MGA’s mission, one booklet will address the comprehensive educational needs of MG patients, families and caregivers. Additionally, a second booklet will be developed to provide in depth technical information to the medical community. MGA’s new hospital partner, The West Penn Allegheny Health System will assist with the design portion of the project through their outstanding publications department. MGA’s staff, Medical Advisory Committee, and patient volunteers are carefully reviewing the organizations current literature to insure it is up to date, relevant, and readable. This project has a estimated of value $10,000.
